Bishop Gear Steering Box Cover Plate  Good Used Condition 260-100 to Suit MG TA - TC This cover plate has an adjustment screw mechanism making contact to control "end float” of the sector shaft to adjust steering play.  The cover has Bishop Gear Patent 223963 stamped into it, the screw adjuster operates fully as does the lock nut. This top plate with adjuster removes the need for using shims.
