Jaguar Oil Retaining Cover modern replacement for original C39539. C332 REP. This part was designed to take a modern seal and fitted in place of the crankshaft rear rope seal as fitted using the Original Oil Retaining Cover C39539 to the engine block.  This part was designed to take a modern 98.5mm 3.878 inch Outer Diameter Seal. To Suit Jaguar 3.5, 2.5 and 1.5 Litre Over Head Valve engines as fitted to Jaguar SS Mark 4 and Mark 5 Jaguar cars. This is a very nicely machined modern new product, engraved CarCraft Services who commissioned the manufacture (CarCraft services no longer operate). The inner diameter size of the seal will be dependant on your cranks size of the oil spiral journal.  PLEASE NOTE: The modern red rear main seal pictured DOES NOT come with this holder, the seal is shown for descriptive purposes.  New Old Stock - Please see photos as they form part of the description.
