Original rare genuine used Jaguar 3.5 3½ litre Mark IV Mk IV Mark 4 engine oil dipstick C.2683 , this is the long version with 9-inch top extension above the collar- total Overall Length: 19.5 inches (from the top of the solid cast knob to the absolute tip of the blade).
Extension Stalk Length: 9 inches (from the seating collar to the top of the knob)
The Lowest Notch (at ~9 ⅞ inches); The Middle Notch (at ~8 ⅝ inches); The Highest Notch (at ~7 ⁵⁄₁₆ to 7 ½ inches).
It is straight and the critical lower measuring blade and notches are perfectly intact. As expected for a 75+ year old engine part, it is currently dirty and missing a significant portion of its original chrome plating. It shows normal surface grime and minor oxidation. It is very restorable.
